The following report of Benjamin Tyzack's funeral appeared in the Hull Daily Mail on Monday 12th October 1936. The report was followed by a long list of all the mourners who attended the funeral.
"FUNERAL OF MR B. TYZACK
WELL-KNOWN HULL AND GOOLE SHIP REPAIRER
The funeral took place at Hook Cemetery, near Goole, on Saturday, of Mr Benjamin Tyzack of Hessle Mount, Hessle, who was well known in Hull and Goole shipping circles.
Mr Tyzack was a director of the Union Dry Dock and Engineering Co., Ltd., of Hull, and of Messrs Webster, Bickerton and Co. Ltd., shipbuilders and repairers, of Goole. he was also associated with the Redcliffe Shipping Co., of Hull. Before taking up residence at Hessle, he lived for about 20 years in the Goole district. He was 49 years of age, and leaves a widow and one son.
A service was held at Hook Parish Church, at which the Rev G.A.B. Chamberlain, M.A., vicar of Hook officiated."
