William GREEN
(1813-1875)
(1813-1875)
William Green was born in Winterton, Lincolnshire c.1813. He married Dinah Rickles on 31st May 1833 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire.
At the time of the 1851 census, Dinah is living with their family of three sons and three daughters in Back Lane, Winterton. She is listed as the married Head of the household. At the same time, William is living in as a Groom and occasional farm labourer at Northlands House in Winterton. He was working for farmer, John Richardson. It seems likely that this may have been in the 18th century Northland's Farmhouse.
By 1861 the couple are living together in Northland's Road, Winterton - William is still working as a Groom. Charlotte and her sisters, Sarah and Betsy are living with their parents.
