Husband: STAPLER, James (1843 - 1913)
James Stapler was born in High Ongar, Essex and his wife, Amelia (nee Turner), was born in Paddington, London.
The couple married in the Gravesend region of Kent, in 1866. Their daughter, Ellen Amelia Stapler, was born in the Medway area in 1869. Sadly, Ellen died a few months later. The couple had no other children.
At the time of the 1901 census, James was working as a gardener and Amelia was working from home as a teacher of music. They were living in Village Street, Hook.
By 1911, James's occupation was listed as grocer.
James died in the third Quarter of 1913, at the age of 73 years. Amelia lived for another seventeen years, dying in 1930 at the age of 88.
